Data Management of Booksellers' Specialist Catalogues
re 1. Bookshops and publishing houses supply their own data or data they have purchased to NEWBOOKS for data management. Alternatively, publishing houses and bookshops take care of their own data by means of an account for the data hosted for them at NEWBOOKS. If required, NEWBOOKS will organise a subject information service (e.g. for a suggestions list system). re 2. Bookshops and publishing houses collect the subject profiles of their end customers and connect these profiles via an online administration to the relevant subject information service. The customers receive thematically pre-sorted, enhanced and standardised title data in the form of newsletters, suggestions lists and RSS Feeds.
NEWBOOKS offers booksellers to host their own catalogs for specialist literature. Additionally we offer data maintenance for all biographical data. Data maintenace could include:
